Dunlop 24h Dubai race


IMSA Performance Matmut I won the 5th Dunlop 24 hours of Dubai endurance race at the Dubai Autodrome on Saturday (january.16) after a gruelling contest which started on Friday afternoon. The Porsche team, consisting of Raymond Narac, Patrick Pilet and Marco Holzer, crossed the chequered flag winning their first ever competition with their debut in 24 hour racig.

Rising gracefully from the desert, Burj Khalifa honours the city with its extraordinary union of art, engineering and meticulous craftsmanship. The inauguration of world's tallest building and highest man-made structure, coincided with Accession Day, the fourth anniversary of Vice-President and Prime Minister of the UAE and Ruler of Dubai His Highness Sheikh Mohammed Bin Rashid Al Maktoum becoming Ruler of Dubai.

Wet , stormy start to 2010 in Sharjah

BULLFIGHT IN FUJAIRAH























Under the overcast skies the bullfight venue looks festive with the onlookers cheering the bulls, which seem reluctant at first to start a fight. Friday bullfights are a main attraction of Fujairah and people from all over the emirates throng to this venue along the corniche.

Koodyattom
















KOODYATTOM is the oldest existing classical art in the world, recognised by UNESCO as a Human Heritage Art. It was originated much before Kerala's classical art Kathakali and most other theatrical forms in the world. It is considered to be at least 2,000 years old. Kulasekhara Varma Cheraman Perumal, an ancient king of Kerala, was known as the creator of Koodiyattam in the present form.
